I became familiar with Karen through her Facebook page/group dedicated to the memory and appreciation of the great tenor Franco Corelli. He was, in her words, the best tenor that the world had ever heard or seen. I share her sentiment, and Facebook helped her, and me, and hundreds of others to share clips, quotes, memories, and impressions regarding this "King of Tenors". Her legacy lives on, in part, through the continued existence of this group. I was so very saddened to hear of her passing and will be ever thankful for my association with her through one of her great passions in life.
